In this first image, which we can consider a diptych, we play with a frontal perspective of a computer, on whose screen several people appear, alongside 3D keys that in turn simulate theater seats.
We wanted to place the focus on communication without distancing ourselves from technological contemporaneity. Life today unfolds constantly in front of a screen, and we aim to create a dialogue with the viewer that questions the ambivalence of relationships today: on the one hand, made possible and available at every moment through our computers and mobile phones, which—as McLuhan already predicted in the 1960s—have become extensions of our own bodies; and on the other hand, to step back and reflect on what is happening within these spaces, and whether these new modes are truly what we need in relation to how humans communicate.
